Victoria Hagan x The Shade Store

Earlier this month, esteemed interior designer Victoria Hagan announced the expansion of her previous collaboration with The Shade Store – a leading name in the world of custom window treatments – with an exclusive array of luxurious materials that have a timeless sensibility rooted in tradition, yet feel fresh and modern, and relevant to a multitude of decorating styles. Hagan’s work has been inspirational for designers worldwide, and her soft and subtle approach to decorating have made her an excellent example of a decorator who can design both modern and traditional interiors. For today’s design story, I thought we could all have a peek inside her latest fabric collection.

Building upon her last collection with The Shade Store, which was more casual in design, the new assortment adds a sense of luxury and sophistication by bringing in new textures, and a tonal color palette of warm neutrals, soft blues and deep grays that can easily elevate any space.

For the new line of fabrics Victoria drew inspiration from her love of nature, taking cues from the environment. Stylized floral patterns and her signature east-west stripes are stared in a heavy way. “I am so proud of this collection and can’t wait to see how people use it in their homes, like I have in mine,” explains Hagan. “  The Victoria Hagan for The Shade Store collection includes the following styles, each with a description by the designer:

Vanda – Inspired by the exotic pattern of its namesake orchid, this intricately woven fabric has a beautiful luster that beautifully frames the window and brings a special glow to any space. Each color is taken from nature to complement the floral theme.

Casa Stripe– This timeless material nods to classic striped patterns while adding depth through rich texture and organic hand – feel. Inspired by the designer’s view of the horizon, it brings coastal elegance to the window.

Jasmine – Understated yet elegant, this intricate jacquard adds eye-catching depth and intrigue to the window. Featuring an exquisitely detailed woven pattern and subtle sheen, it instantly elevates any room of the home.

Lily-Designed to add elegant height to any space, this embroidered lightweight sheer is an elegant way to frame the view and soften natural light. Crafted from a luxurious cotton-linen blend, its beauty is found in its timeless simplicity.
