Happy mid-August, dear friends! I hope you’ve had a lovely summer so far! Mine has been a good one, busy but fun, filled with equal parts work and leisure, which is just the way I like my summers to be. I got to visit and spend quality time with my mom, worked on some interesting projects with dream clients, practiced my upholstery skills, and spent considerable time near the sea, which always brings me peace and clarity and joy.

We were lucky enough to overlap our visit with the peak of hydrangea season, and that made picture-taking both a joy and a necessity. The shrubs were lush and bountiful, unlike anything I’d ever seen…

But now I’m back, thinking about the start of a new school year, and ways to increase our efficiency and productivity, and I find myself nostalgic. Do you miss the old days of blogging, before the bells and whistles of AI driven social media, before the age of reels and filters and the algorithm deciding your scroll? I know I do… Perhaps blogging has become obsolete but no matter how much time passes between posts, I still find myself coming back to this space, and to this audience. Life can get in the way of writing in many distracting, challenging and creative ways, but I still hear myself whispering, “ This would make a great topic for a blog post!” And as long as I hear that whisper, however quiet it may be, I’ll keep showing up.

So here it is, another roundup of some cool finds for your home and your garden, in case you’re still here, still reading. And if you are, I hope you see something you like!
