Good morning, dear friends! As you may or may not know, the Brimfield Antique Flea Market is happening these days near Palmer, Massachusetts, and since I know many of you would love to attend but live too far away to make the trip, I thought I’d take you along and share some highlights from the first day at market. Who knew heaven on earth was a 37-minute drive from Amherst? 🙂
My friend and I arrived early and got the first look at some marvelous pieces. I was drawn to old glass and chipped pottery, and I found quite a few beautiful Chinese porcelain jars that I am still dreaming about. Antique rugs were next on my search list, along with beautiful side tables and some old etchings. Surrounded by so many beautiful things with stories to tell, history and patina, the hours melted away and I felt happy and at ease. I did manage to contain my enthusiasm long enough to snap a few photos to show you. Going to Brim felt like a dream come true, a once in a lifetime opportunity. I’m heading back tomorrow 🙂
For more information about the Brimfield Antique Flea Market please check their website here. The Spring 2022 edition is packed with auctions and special shopping opportunities and dealers have gathered from around the country to showcase their wares. The market will be open until Sunday, May 15. Hope to see you there!
That first image, with the green bottles lined up — STUNNING! Looks like you are having a wonderful time.
Keep sharing your finds — love seeing them all.

Hi,
I was at Brimfield for the first time this year. It was overwhelming. I was wondering what field you like best. By the time I got there on Saturday, it seemed like a lot of the best pieces were gone.
