Happy end of July, dear friends! I don’t know about you, but I cannot believe we’ve already passed the mid-summer mark and are thinking fall schedules and back-to-school supplies. It’s been a crazy, busy summer with exquisite highs and some painful lows, but overall it’s been lovely and plenty fun. On the home front, there are a few projects I have yet to photograph and share with you but, for that to happen, I need to get my act together and do a bit of outdoor painting and styling. And with all the rain we’ve been having here in New England, that’s been a challenge.

Happy Sunday, friends! I hope you’re staying cool and enjoying a relaxing weekend, wherever you are. Here in Western Mass we’ve had a terribly rainy July so far and are currently under a tornado warning but, regardless of the humidity and the heat, we’re wrapping up a fun weekend of celebrations at our house as my girl is turning 11! Can you believe it? Although we’ve been navigating the turbulent preteen waters for some time now, I need someone to pinch me… Where did the time go?

Earlier this week, on June 28th to be exact, we celebrated four years since we moved into our home. Four years ago (and for many more weeks after that), our living room was filled with unopened boxes, excitement and renovation plans, and too many bits of furniture I’d strung along. Some all the way from California. Even now, as I write this, I cannot believe it’s been that long. It feels like only yesterday that I shared with you our home, and invited you all on our renovation journey. See our first post HERE.
