BEHIND THE NAME: Trudie was named after the trailblazing Gertrudes in history: explorer Gertrude Bell, horticulturalist Gertrude Jekyll, writer Gertrude Stein, folk artist Sister Gertrude Morgan, and sculptor Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney, among others. We are inspired by their confidence, style, and zest for life.
