Happy Holidays!

Season’s greetings, dear friends! It’s been a while since my last blog post and I want to thank you all for your patience, and for your kind notes of concern. I also wanted to let you know that I’m OK and everything is fine at home. The reason for my extended absence has to do with some backend changes here on the blog which I’ll try to explain very quickly so that I won’t bore you all, especially since it’s almost Christmas Eve!

After careful consideration I’ve decided to remove all content that might violate copyrights. While I was starting out and the blog wasn’t monetized, I told myself I was spreading the word and, just like the rest of the design blogosphere, was doing the new form of PR. But since I’m now monetizing this website, and have been doing so for the last couple of years, it feels only right to remove all images that I have no ownership on or rights to use. I realize that many of you tune in to see pretty homes and the work of your favorite designers so I hope you won’t be too disappointed to find content that focuses more on my own house, and on client work I am at liberty to share. You’ll also find design book reviews, Create Academy class overviews and lots more…

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I’m still here, in the shadows, revamping the website and missing you all terribly. With a bit of luck, I’ll be done by the end of December and we can start the year off together with some fun projects I’ve been looking forward to share with you!

Sounds like a fair change. I always enjoyed those peeks into super fabulous, but what seems like a change to more realistic, livable homes sounds wonderful to me. Looking forward to the new ideas and designs. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year ahead.

    Hi Eva,
I’m glad you are well, and I will miss your other content, but it’s your personal home projects that really inspire. I’m looking forward to seeing more. Happy holidays to you and your family!

So nice to hear from you Eva! Hope all goes well with the new website, even as I’ll miss all your beautiful peeks into fabulous homes! But as others have said, I’m very interested in all your work, both in your own home and those of your clients.
Have a very Merry Christmas with your beautiful family, and can’t wait to see you in the New Year!

Although I have fully enjoyed and appreciate the ways that you digest and explain the design behind beautifully published homes, it is your personal projects and design thoughts that most inspire me. I look forward to more of that, and admire your ethics! Happy New year!
