Grow a Spectacular Garden in Pots by Arthur Parkinson

If you’d like to learn the art of block printing with textile designer Molly Mahon, or plant flower gardens with Henrietta and Brigitte of The Land Gardeners, learn all about container gardening with Arthur Parkinson, or design naturalistic landscapes with Dan Pearson, make beautiful floral arrangements with Willow Crossley, get creative with paint and furniture along with Annie Sloan, decorate a cozy, colorful and storied home with Rita Konig, Kathryn Ireland or Amanda Lindroth, or cook delicious and healthy meals with Amelia Freer, then Create Academy may be the answer to an unspoken prayer. There’s so much to explore and learn with their ever-green and ever-expanding curriculum, and new and exciting classes are being added monthly – Nina Campbell will be launching her interior design class soon!

Master the Art of Block Printing by Molly Mahon

If this sounds good to you, you can take advantage of their 25% off Easter Sale and treat yourself, a family member or a friend to a class that could get you and them started on a new creative journey. Personal development, on-going education and the ability to expand one’s skillset at any age are topics I’m deeply passionate about. With the exception of my morning workouts, there’s always a podcast or an audiobook playing in the background on topics that interest me. However, when it comes to learning new skills – especially in the arts and crafts sphere – high-quality video content is the best way to learn for me, and this is where I think Create Academy fills a market void and does so in a wonderful and engaging way.

Thank you for the heads up on Create Academy’s sale. I’ve been looking at the block printing and making your own curtains for awhile now and with the discount will make my choice easier.
By the way, I used your upholstery cleaning recipe and it worked like a charm. Thank you again for sharing that with us.

Hi Jamie! Thank you so much for stopping by – the classes you’re considering are both awesome: Molly Mahon’s block-printing course is so much fun and will teach you how to create your own designs and then print them on paper or fabric. (She even teaches how to make your own wallpaper!) And if you have a minimum knowledge of how to use a sewing machine, Gemma’s class on making professional-looking curtains will be a money-saver as you’ll be able to sew beautiful curtains for your home.

I’m so glad that my mother-in-law’s recipe worked well for you! She’ll be happy to hear it!
      xo,
      Eva

Thanks so much for passing this along, Eva. I’m interested in the courses on Interior design. I’m drawn to Rita Konig, and your comments on Alidad’s class intrigued me as well. They all look so well done.

Thanks, Sheena! They are incredibly well done, both in terms of content quality and photography. I would start with Rita Konig’s class, which is absolutely phenomenal, and build a curriculum from there.
Do let me know how you like it if you decide to take the class!
      xo, Eva
