Happy Sunday, dear friends! I hope you had a fun weekend! Another busy week has come and gone, followed by beautiful crisp days with clear skies and sunshine, filled with college sports, nature walks, and good food. I’ve been neglecting the garden for a while but today I finally found some time and raked the last of the fallen leaves (one can only hope) and cleaned up some of the flower beds. There are still some garlic bulbs to be planted, sometime next week, but after that I’m ready to hibernate. Indoors. Here are this week’s finds. Let me know if you see something you like!

Happy Sunday, dear friends! I hope your weekend was a fun one. We’re ending a busy week, filled with activity on all fronts – copious amounts of work and play, sprinkled with some comfort food  and plenty of warm cider. I had hoped to have blogging things ready by now but such is life. Hoping you’re still around, here are this week’s finds, along with some highlights on the home front. Trick or treating was a huge success this year. We got enough candy to tide us over until Thanksgiving, for which I’ve started practicing some new bakes. I also spotted the most darling jack-o lantern I’ve ever seen, and I’m sharing the pic I snapped in case you need some inspiration for next year’s pumpkin designs. My neighbor turned her pumpkin sideways and, what do you know, the result was hilarious. I’m so stealing this carving idea.

Dear friends, today’s design story takes us to Atlanta, Georgia, for a visit with interior designer Katie Wolf, founder of Wolf Interiors. Through a series of photographs by Jeff Herr, we’ll get a detailed tour of Katie’s stunning home in the Brookwood Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, and we’ll get to hear all about the thoughtful design choices she and her husband, Tyler, made during the renovation of their 1920s house.

Happy weekend, dear friends! I hope you’re having a restful and fun couple of days, wherever you are.  It’s the end of a busy fall week here in Western Mass, with a million things happening on all fronts – at work, at school and at home. Playdates, birthday parties, doctor’s appointments, work deadlines – our calendar is packed with activities (some more fun than others) and downtime with a favorite book feels like a stolen luxury these days. After an initial burst of enthusiasm on my end, yard work has been abandoned in favor of more pressing projects inside. Our contractor’s schedule has opened up so we’re continuing our renovation with parts of our upstairs, including Sofia’s room, which is in need of a refresh. While the fallen leaves pile, I’m having a good time picking out new fabric and paint colors for my preteen girl. Daughters can be interesting clients, I find. Anyway, here are this week’s finds – the usual assortment of things either practical or pretty, sometimes both.
