Good morning, dear friends! I’m back from my break and ready to share with you glimpses of a design book I’ve been looking at a lot lately – British Designers at Home by Jenny Rose-Innes. Those of you who don’t already have it, I think will enjoy its discovery. Launched in October of 2020, the book could not have come at a better time to satisfy our wanderlust and need for a mental escape. Through beautiful photographs by Simon Griffiths, the book takes us on an inspiring trip through the British Isles, visiting esteemed decorators at home and at their best.
Among the homes featured are those of Robert Kime, Rita Konig, Wendy Nichols, Carlos Sanchez-Garcia, Edward Bulmer, Penny Morrison, Kit Kemp, Nina Campbell, Daniel Slowik and many, many others. British Designers at Home is an intimate look at the way designers live and decorate their own spaces. We get to find out what inspires them and learn ways to make our own homes more beautiful and personal. I’ve selected only a few of the many stunning rooms featured, hope you enjoy this glimpse!
British Designers at Home is author Jenny Rose-Innes’ second book on decorating and a follow-up on her first – Australian Designers at Home. A South African native, Jenny Rose-Innes currently lives in Australia and is a self-proclaimed Anglophile with a love of interior design and gardening. Her own homes and gardens have received high praise on social media where she documents her own journey in search of a “perfect” home. If you’d like to have a look at her books, they are available for purchase on Amazon, links below:
